‘Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.’

We put a big emphasis on the student community and a carefully managed group size. Our approach is non-linage based to give you the broadest understanding of yoga, and advocate an evidence-based and anatomical approach to modern yoga that honours the philosophical and mindfulness-based roots of yoga.

Are we registered with a governing body?

The course is registered with Yoga Alliance International, and goes above and beyond their criteria. We classify the course as a hatha and vinyasa yoga training, with more time than average 200 hour courses on teaching skills, sequencing, philosophy and anatomy.

How developed is the course?

The course has been running for 14 waitlisted rotations in London since 2015, and as such has developed a method that is inspirational, accessible, in-depth and provides students with a thorough introduction to yoga and how to teach well, whilst giving time for self development, and making sure friends are made and fun is had along the way.

Jessica is on maternity leave for 2024 but generally runs two 200 hour trainings per year: September - March, and March - July.

The training tutors equally on the “doing” and the “learning”. For those keen to develop their yoga practice professionally, Jessica brings years of experience in mentoring and training teachers for various studios in London and offers a clear foundational teaching model, with the option to go deeper into teaching strategy, and methodical sequencing. Rather than creating cookie-cutter teachers, each student is supported to find an authentic and confident teaching voice that stands out.

inside the room on a yoga training..

This is the part of our day on yoga training where our students practice teaching. We walk you through a 4-step process for teaching with excellence, and give you a couple of sequences to learn as a base. Later on in the course, we guide you through sequencing… where you can get creative with creating classes for different ages, styles, themes and teaching points.

What our graduates say…

Jess and the team delivered the course with expertise and rigour, but also humility and humour. They did not seek to create clones of their (brilliant) selves - rather, they equipped us with the tools to build our own honest, and authentic, teaching practice - in whatever form that might take.'

— Naomi Scott Salisbury, 2018-2019

I enjoyed such an amazing course. The knowledge, warmth and compassion made all the difference, as did the intimacy and size of the group. I would highly recommend this course

— D.M. 2019-2020

This training fosters an incredible journey of self growth and awareness, and will set you up to be an excellent teacher. Two weeks after graduation I was able to teach a public class described by one student as "the clearest instruction she had ever received" in a yoga class. i owe this to jess’ teaching style and delivery.

— Jena Trolio, 2017-2018
