LEARN (TO LOVE) MEDITATION & BREATH-WORK - A 4-WEEK COURSE | MONDAY 19:30-20:45 JANUARY 10th - 31st 2022
Most of us know it is really good for our mood, efficiency, our ability to focus and be present… but establishing a regular and enjoyable meditation and breath-work practice is something most people find very hard to do and sustain. Its not just about learning meditation and breath-work, you have to LOVE IT to sustain a self-practice that you can lean on and into throughout life’s ups and downs.
In this 4-week beginners course, Jessica will introduce you to the 4 main principles of meditation and 4 breathing techniques and how you can adapt and integrate them joyfully into your life. Suitable for total beginners, but also those that have tried it before, but not found a way to integrate it into their life longer term.
You will be given a simple home-practice to do each week, and each student receives a simple manual of the course for reference, and unlimited access to the meditation and breath-work recordings practiced.
By the end of the 4-week program you will be confident to practice simple meditation and breath-work practices on your own, and will understand how to integrate these into your life in a meaningful, enjoyable and guilt-free way!
About Jessica
Jessica Stewart is founder of state, leads a 200 hour yoga teacher training, and has trained in MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction) as well as having trained extensively with buddhist, tantric and vedic forms of meditation. Jessica is a mindfulness expert and has been lecturing in the financial sector for 12 years. You can find examples of her meditation tuition on her album ‘Mindful Self Care’, produced by Calm Collective, available on all streaming platforms.

KAIVALYA NEW YEARS DAY RETREAT with Jessica Stewart
Join state founder, Jessica Stewart, for a day of inspiration and deep recharge this January. A whole day of deeply nourishing and uplifting yoga practices, with a delicious lunch and chair massage in the afternoon included.
Kaivalya, the principle of finding peace in a state of quiet and solitary bliss, is the theme for this year’s day retreat. The focus will be on all of yoga’s ‘quiet’ practices – guided meditations, learning to listen to our inner wisdom, an invigorating flow that centres on breathwork and cleansing practices, and the second half of which is all restorative postures.
We will move into the afternoon with a yin session after lunch. The day closes with intention setting and yoga nidra, a profound form of guided relaxation.
Suitable for all from beginners to advanced (options and variations given).

I cant wait to see you all again! Our annual JSY yoga teacher training graduates reunion are a chance for us to catch up, share experiences of teaching, and finesse our teaching skills in a supportive environment.
This year, we will be looking at the art of adjustments, after a long break from ‘touch’ due to the pandemic, how can we begin to offer hands-on assistance and healing in a safe, transformative and respectful way.
